Canada is a multicultural society. Cross-cultural communication is beneficial to audience from various social settings. Learning, in general, has four stages. Stage 1--Unconscious incompetence, Stage 2--Conscious Incompetence, Stage 3--Conscious competence, and Stage 4--Unconscious competence. Lei Belinda Chen designed her workshops to help with understanding cross-cultural communication and mindfully practicing effective skills (Stage 2 & Stage 3).
